2025 Spirit Week
September 29-October 3
Poster Contest
Each grade level will make a homecoming poster and turn it in by noon on Thursday, October 2. Judging will be completed by the end of the day on Thursday. We will use these to decorate the school for spirit week and then take them to the football field for the pep rally and game on Friday. The winning class from elementary school, middle school, and high school will earn an ice cream party.
Spirit Links
Spirit links will be sold by the cheerleaders each morning (1 for $1 or 7 for $5). The class with the most spirit links purchased will earn donuts.
Class Participation
SGA/Yearbook staff will be coming around each day for a participant tally, to take photos for the yearbook, and to give a small prize to the best-dressed. The class with the most school spirit (participation) from elementary school, middle school, and high school will earn a pizza party.
Coins for Community
There will be a Penny War. The “prize” is a pie in the face!!! Students should bring in pennies for additional points and silver change to detract points. (*Each department will need to vote on who will represent them in the Penny War by Monday, September 22*) All Penny War jars and coins must be turned in by lunch on Thursday, October 2.
Pep Rally
We will have a pep rally beginning at 1:15 pm on Friday, October 3. The winners of the Penny War, link sales, and poster contest will be announced at this event.
Powderpuff Game
We will have a Powderpuff game immediately following the pep rally at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 3. Middle school and high school students will need to bring a towel to sit on during the powderpuff game.

Monday, 9/29
Dress to Unimpress Day-Roll out of bed a little later today. All you need are your pajamas and slippers, and you’re on your way! Please keep it modest and appropriate.
Tuesday, 9/30
Character Day K4-8th Grade- Come dressed as your favorite character. No weapons, masks, or scary characters are allowed!
Rhyme Without Reason 9th-12th Grade- Grab a friend and dress up as two things that rhyme. Example: A waiter and a skater
Wednesday, 10/1
Class Color Wars Wednesday- Wear your grade level’s assigned color and show your class pride!
K4- Red
K5- Orange
1st- White
2nd- Green
3rd-Blue
4th- Purple
5th-Black
6th- Red
7th-Orange
8th- White
9th- Green
10th- Blue
11th- Purple
12th- Black
Thursday, 10/2
Team Thursday K4-8th Grade- Wear your favorite team gear, colors, or jerseys.
Dress Your Class Age 9th-12th Grade- Come dressed as your age. Freshman-Babies, Sophomores-Toddlers, Juniors-Adults, Seniors- Senior Citizens
Friday, 10/3
School Spirit/Homecoming Shirt Friday. Wear your homecoming shirts or show us your best CCS colors! Go Cyclones!
